02 Mar 2022 EVENT

Join us on March 28, 2022, 9:00 - 13:15 for a morning of interesting talks and exciting discussions to learn more about ongoing research on the health impacts of micro- and nanoplastics!

One year has passed since we have kicked-off Imptox, a multi-disciplinary research initiative aiming to understand the effects and toxicity of micro- and nanoplastics on the risk of allergic disease. While we are progressing in our understanding of the problem, much still remains to be discussed.

In this half-day public workshop,  scientists from a diverse range of fields including biochemistry, food science, biotechnology, toxicology, risk assessment and more will expose the status-quo of their current research on micro- and nanoplastics pollution. The meeting will also feature invited speakers from other EU-supported science initiatives to see how we all could benefit from research collaboration. An interactive discussion where the audience will be invited to participate with questions and comments will close the gathering.

PLEASE SIGN UP HERE for the 1st Imptox Public Workshop "Scientific perspectives on the health impacts of micro- and nanoplastics: an open discussion" taking place on March 28, 2022, 9:00 - 13:15  online via ZOOM.
