CUSP 2023 International Conference: Two years of intensive research into micro- and nanoplastics
The second iteration of the CUSP project meeting is taking place on September 14, 2023, in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The conference will enable scientists, industry, policymakers and regulators, as well as civil society, to present and discuss results achieved over the last two years within the five projects of the cluster.
Participants will hear from key experts on the state-of-the-art in human exposure, fate, health hazards, methodologies, risk assessment approaches, standardization, and human biomonitoring, among other topics. Not only are the latest CUSP results featured, but also valuable insights into other initiatives, including COST Action CA20101 PRIORITY, BRIDIG (Plastics Europe), MINAGRIS, and the MOMENTUM network. A panel discussion will allow attendees to examine implications for policy, industry, and regulation; and a subsequent poster session will facilitate further knowledge exchanges with plenty of opportunity for networking.
Find the registration link here. Please note that by registering for the conference you agree to pay the delegate fee of 40 € per person. The payment must be made in advance and covers the conference costs. Further details of how to make this payment will be provided later.
As the number of places is limited, they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment. There is no option for online participation.
CUSP is the European Research Cluster to Understand the Health Effects of Micro- and Nanoplastics, uniting five scientific research projects, including Imptox.
