Jaehak Jung (Ph.D.)

is the CTO of the Korea Institute of Analytical Science and Technology (KIAST). His expertise is in MP determination and environmental and food safety. Jaehak JUNG received his PhD from the Department of Sensor and Display Engineering (Lab. of Spectroscopy) of Kyungpook National University in 2009. His research interests include hazardous substances (RoHS/ELV/REACH SVHCs) and microplastics international standardization in ISO/TCs & IEC/TCs. Additionally, he is a specialist in hazardous substances/microplastics in products (E&E, automotives, chemicals, consumers), the environment (air, soil, water, products etc.), cosmetics, food and food contact materials.
